Vision Why this direction matters

From reflection towards practical change

The Transition Path

The Transition Path is a seven-phase framework for moving from awareness towards careful, practical change. It is a direction for inquiry, not a claim that one fixed sequence fits every person or community.

Seven phases

  1. Remember
  2. Reveal
  3. Reimagine
  4. Prototype
  5. Network
  6. Replace
  7. Protect

Start locally, connect outward

Transitions can begin at the scale of a person, household, neighbourhood or community. Learning can then be shared, compared and adapted through wider cooperation while meaningful local agency is retained.

The path does not imply that established systems should be replaced without evidence, participation, safeguards or a workable alternative.
