New Earth starts with people taking thoughtful responsibility for their own place: their wellbeing, skills, food, resources, environment and community.

That might mean growing some food, learning a useful skill, helping a neighbour, improving a shared space, documenting local knowledge or starting a useful conversation. These are invitations, not requirements.

Local-first does not mean isolated. People and communities can share learning, cooperate, offer mutual support and connect outward while retaining meaningful local agency.

Future community pathways may help people connect locally. They would need to remain small, locally shaped, community-led, responsible, transparent and connected outward rather than centrally controlled.
